Moses got to see God!

God's glory - his signature must be something to see.  But the Bible says that few person can see God's glory because they would not survive the experience. So God did something that allows Moses to see him, be with him up close, for forty days.

Imagine that!  Would you want an opportunity to spend forty days with God alone?

The people wouldn't.  They told Moses to go in their place because they were completely afraid of God.

So if you had forty days with God, what would you say?  What questions do you have?  What blessing would you want from him?

When Jesus died, he remove the necessity of a mediator between us and God.  We all get to enjoy God's presence, one on one, up close.  For now, this experience is not with our senses of touch, sight, smell, sound, and taste.  But one day, God promises we will see him face to face.

Think about your faith story: how have you "felt" God?

In your life presently, where do you most feel God's presence? In what ways you would like to experience God more?  What kind of question do you have for God?

Who do you know has shut God out by allowing things, worries or pleasures crowd out God's presence?

Pray
