Despite the awesome signs, Moses is still not willing. So now Moses says, "I can't do this, I am not a good speaker."
Most people in the world don't like to speak in front of people. And all of us have a good long list of things we think we are no good at.
We can't be too hard on him. After all, he just met God a few minutes ago. He doesn't yet know that to God, it's never about what we do well, but what God can do through people who are willing.
And while people say "no" to God everyday, and while God often then chooses someone else, today, God is not taking "no" for an answer. So to appease Moses, God allows Moses to bring his brother Aaron along.
But not before God gets frustrated with Moses and gives him a mild scolding. "I will there with you! You won't be alone!"
We'd so well to remember that for ourselves - God never leaves us to face life alone. Whether it is the monotony of everyday life, or the giants of everyday challenges, God is with us. We may not feel it, because there is nothing in our human anatomy that is designed to feel God directly. So we need to perfect the skill of reminding ourselves in our heads that God is with us, and be open to the ways God makes himself felt through everything around us - our friends and nature, and even magical ways.
